We've got answers.

Probably. Check below before emailing. Most questions are here.

Is this a subscription?

No. One-time purchase. You buy it, you own it. That's how software used to work and we're bringing it back.

Does my data sync to the cloud?

Not yet. Right now everything lives on your phone. iCloud sync is planned for a future update — when it arrives, it'll go through Apple's encrypted infrastructure. We won't see any of it.

What happens if I get a new phone?

Use an iPhone backup. If you restore from an iCloud or local backup, your GenRx data comes with it. Until iCloud sync ships, that's the move.

What's the difference between "Skipped" and "Missed"?

Skipped means you made a choice. Missed means the day ended and nothing was logged. The app tracks them separately so your adherence stats reflect reality, not accidents.

I took my medication at a different time than scheduled. What do I do?

Log it anyway. The history records the actual time you took it. You can also log off-schedule doses from the Today view.

How does injection site rotation work?

When you add an injection medication, you define your rotation list (e.g., Left Belly, Right Belly, Left Thigh, Right Thigh). The app tracks where you are in that list and advances automatically each time you log a dose as taken. You can confirm or override the site at log time.

Can I export my data?

CSV export is on the roadmap. It's not in the first release. It's coming.

Does it work with Apple Watch or Siri?

Not yet. Both are on the future features list. The core iPhone app ships first.

Does it connect to Apple Health?

HealthKit integration is planned for a later update. The first release is local-only. When it does ship, you'll be asked explicitly before anything touches Apple Health.

Do you share data with my insurance company, pharmacy, or anyone else?

No. There's no account, no servers, no sharing. Read the privacy policy if you don't believe us — it's short and written in plain English.

Why don't the notifications sound like every other health app?

Because every other health app writes copy for someone who needs to be encouraged. You don't. You need to be reminded, maybe mildly needled. There's a difference.

Can I turn off the snarky notification copy?

Not in the first release. It's core to the app. If that's a dealbreaker, MediSafe exists.

What iOS version do I need?

iOS 17 or later. iPhone only. iPad is not targeted in the first release.

I found a bug.

Email support@genrx.tech with what happened, what you expected to happen, and your iOS version. We read every one.

I have a feature request.

Email support@genrx.tech. We read them. We don't promise anything, but the roadmap has been shaped by exactly this kind of feedback.

Still have a question?

Drop us a line. We'll get back to you.
